Hi, my name is Chris Hardwick ( no I'm not the cool Chris Hardwick from the Nerdist :-( ). I started programming at the age of 6, and have continued to do so until this day. I joined the industry professionally in 2006. I’ve applied my talents at various companies working at Codemasters, Electronic Arts, Starbreeze Studios, and CD Projekt Red. Whilst I have contributed to games across many genres, I have always been enthusiastic about CRPG.
So what exactly do I do? Well, I make the interactive experience by providing the layer of interaction between user and machine. Which usually means if I have done my job correctly - nobody notices because everything “just works”, and my bug list is zero. This never happens naturally. I am also responsible for making technical decisions and ensuring that the games creative vision stays focused.
